Warren is a conservationist at heart, born in South Africa and shaped by a lifelong connection to Africa’s wild places. Trained in Nature Conservation and Hotel Management in the Cape, his career has unfolded across some of the continent’s most iconic wilderness regions. From South Africa and Botswana to Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Tanzania, Warren has worked as a safari guide, lodge manager, and senior operations leader—holding roles including Operations Manager, Chief Operating Officer and Country General Manager. This depth of experience forms the foundation of African Footprint Safaris, grounded in authenticity, responsibility, and a deep respect for the land.

Megan brings a complementary path shaped by care, compassion, and connection. Born and educated in the United States, she is an emergency paediatric and safari nurse whose passion for healthcare and philanthropy led her to work across Malawi, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe. Beyond the clinical setting, Megan has played an integral role in safari operations and tourism management, embedding herself deeply within Africa’s travel landscape. Through African Footprints, she designs itineraries and shares Africa’s stories with American travellers, connecting guests to the continent through thoughtful planning, meaningful experiences, and a commitment to responsible travel.

Together, Warren and Megan own and operate African Footprints LLC, a U.S.-based travel company dedicated to crafting honest, immersive journeys across Africa. Their combined experience—rooted equally in wilderness, wellbeing, and thoughtful travel—ensures that every safari is designed with care, integrity, and a genuine understanding of Africa’s people, places, and wildlife.
