African Footprints was born in Seattle, Washington, in 2017, when Warren and Megan brought their deep-rooted experience in Africa’s wilderness to the United States. Originally founded as African Footprint Safaris, the company emerged from a desire to bridge two worlds—connecting American travellers with authentic, responsibly guided safari experiences across Africa.
As the journey evolved, African Footprints relocated to Phoenix in 2021, reflecting both growth and a refined vision. Today, the company serves as a U.S.-based gateway to Africa, designing bespoke journeys grounded in first-hand knowledge, honest guidance, and meaningful connection.
At the heart of African Footprints lies a close relationship with its sister company, Footprint Safaris, a Malawi Destination Management Company dedicated to the American market.
